Update - Tally has been in foster now for a couple of weeks and she is indeed an adorable girl. She LOVES human attention, will climb onto your knee for cuddles and kisses. She has learned no means no when it comes to stealing humans' dinner. She had a few small growls at some of the others but this is normal for them to try and carve out their space in the pack and now she gets on fine with them all (though still unsure of Dilly and why we keep a sheep in the house) She eats well and isn't fussy, walks well on lead and is now starting to play with Santos and Vega. She watches Santos play with his ball then copies him so she is learning about toys too. Sleeps through the night and only ever had an accident when we didn't remember to let her out for a pee straight after her dinner. Has been checked out at the vet and given a clean bill of health, so is really an 8 year old puppy.
She has a big, deep bark and so far has used it if she meets other dogs on our walk, though is fine going into somewhere there are already other dogs, will greet them appropriately.
Tally does have a big prey drive so you need to spot the squirrel before she does on a walk! I'm doubtful if she would be cat workable.
All in all a lovely dog, we'd like to see her in a home where she is either an only, with a human around most of the time to give her loads of cuddles, or with only one or 2 other(preferably pointy) dogs who are friendly and happy to share their human.
Update from Roberto - Tallyis funny and kind, walks fine on the lead, comes fine when I call her, she is happy and playful, but not crazy as Rosa, is confident with people, and fine with other dogs
Tally (Was called Viper Titan! Silly name for a female dog!) is the 5th galgo we have rescued from the hunters and sent to be assessed and prepared for travel to kennels . Tally (Titan) has been sponsored by galgo angels Fi McDowall and Dee Wilkinson. This lovely girl's date of birth is 30/4/16, so she is nearly 8 years old and blood tests clear.
