Update 19th Dec - Jessica continues to be a lovely, well-adjusted girl who now gets on great with all the other dogs she walks with and shares play time with. She walks well on the lead and is very inquisitive, loving to explore her surroundings. She now trusts people more although she still likes to be somewhere private to eat as she seems to be afraid if people are around when she is eating. She currently shares her kennel with a male galgo and they are good friends. Jessica (was Macarena, but we've just homed a Macarena so avoiding confusion) is one of the 4 galgos we brought over from the west of Spain and are now under PINS' care with David at Dog Vida. She is a very pretty brindle galga. Her DOB is 16/7/19 so she will be 5 this summer. Petra , the black galga in the pics with her, is her sister.
Jessica is friendly and sweet and gets on well with male and female dogs now, as well as being friendly with the humans that take care of her. Blood tests clear.
