Ezra is a medium size 1 year old podenco boy, abandoned to the perrera on 23rd May with a fractured pelvis. There is some debate over whether it should have been operated on straight away, however, the perrera vet insisted it be left with Ezra on crate rest to see how it heals. Thankfully, we saw his appeal and he is now on his way to one of our wonderful people who look after our dogs till we find them homes. After a day or 2 to settle from the journey, Becky will make an appointment with her vet for Ezra to have new X-rays done and make the decision then whether it is healing appropriately or whether he will need surgery. At least he will now be somewhere comfortable with someone to care for him. More info as we have it.
